Yea… you read it correct I did write “easy” and “fast” in this weight loss article title. :) Those seems to be the 2 words that grab people’s attention when it comes to losing fat and of course not many would be interested in an article titled “Top 5 Hardest Ways for Slow Weight loss” (I would read it just for lols). Is it possible? I would say yes, it’s possible to lose weight fast and easy if you know what you are doing every step of the way so it all comes down to knowledge. Problem with knowledge on the internet is just too much contradiction when you read this stuff, one day you read grapefruit is good for fat loss then next day some new fancy research says it’s bad. This causes a massive confusion for the readers and the end results is in most cases a head full of information and no one taking any action.
“I need to lose weight fast” – Solution: Take action!
Taking action is the single most important thing when dealing with weight loss, I know many tons of great diet advice and also probably 10 times more the amount of worst advice someone could ever give you but the only reason I know which are good and bad for me is cause I took massive action and personally tried everything in my own Cutting diet meal plan.
Fact is that most people will stay in their comfort zones if they have ANY excuse of not doing stuff they need to do like lose weight. I’ve heard people coming up the craziest and funniest excuses like “Well, my friends friend had a boyfriend who I think read about a diet similar to that on some forum where they said they had problems eating 5 times a day” or similar lame excuses like “I don’t have time to eat healthy food”, “Healthy food is too expensive” etc… I bet I could write a 20 000 word article about excuses and they would all sound reasonable.
The point of all this take action writing is to help you realize that it’s the only way to get things like excess weight solved, your body is unique same as mine and every other and they only way to know for sure what works is to try it out. Of course before you pick things that will directly affect your health like dieting you do it the smart way and consult with doctors, nutritionists and people who know what they are doing to make sure it’s perfectly safe for you. A smart approach gets results quick and easy. So let us dig into the top 5 easiest ways to lose weight fast.
Top 5 Easy Ways to Lose Weight Fast
1. Learn foods and calories
Basically what I’m saying here is that you need to familiarize yourself with the concept that food is energy and if you eat more energy than you spend that day it converts to fat. I’m not saying that you have to know how many calories each food has but it’s a good idea to know if that pizza at 00:00 AM will make you eat 1000 calories above your daily expenditure and make you store fat. Use an online calculator, find out your daily expenditure and try think of what foods you can fit in the plan, it doesn’t have to be very precise but just enough so you know you will lose weight. Only reason why we get fat is because we eat more than we need, learn how much you need and eat a bit less than that. Sounds easy and it is and by the way you probably have to do the math only once. It’s worth it.
2. Stop food craving the smart way
Most people eat on instinct and that’s where things start to go wrong. That instinct is actually in many cases just a drop in blood sugar, habit or emotional hunger it is NOT real need for food. The smart way to avoid this is to eat tons of green vegetables and protein. Feeling of hunger is related to total volume of food ingested not how much calories that food has. So if you eat 2 bowls of green salad which in total has less than 50 kcal you’ll actually feel less hungry than having 2 cheese burgers which totals around 700 kcal. So the magic formula in avoiding food cravings is just to eat more volume and less energy dense foods. For example you can have your burger but add tons of green salad to it just to make it digest slowly so you won’t feel hungry for at least a couple of hours.
3. Start using meal replacement protein shakes
It is sad for me to see how many people are out there with no knowledge about the power of protein shakes when it comes to weight loss. Meal replacement shakes are probably the best thing that has ever happened to the fat loss industry, they make dieting easier and practical. For me cooking healthy meals for 2h on some days where I don’t know what to do from all the work load Whey Protein shakes is a life saver. It makes my diet sustainable in a long run which is one of the most important factors when dieting so you must make it easier for you to follow through the weight loss plan and meal replacement shakes do just that. 4. Have a workout plan and follow it
You probably wonder when I’m going to mention exercise and unfortunately for you lazy ones reading this workout is something you have to use if you want to lose weight quick and easy. There is just no way around it, it doesn’t have to a furious schedule like training each day but it has to be planned and consistent. Even a 20 min walk before bed combined with a 10 min run first thing in the morning will give you amazing results when combined with the advice I’ve written before. Reason why I didn’t mention exercise before is because I feel that diet is a thing where most people fail. Research shows that even a little light exercise like walking can reduce insulin blood levels significantly and that means even a 5 min walk will help your body avoid storing food as fat and burn fat for energy.
5. Get a personal fitness and nutrition coach
Once all above fails and you decide that the weight loss problem is too much for you to handle on your own the best thing you can do is hire a professional fitness coach. He can’t do your work instead of you but it will give you a plan, motivation and the right tips at the right time so you’ll see results in no time. Also from my experience investing money in this makes people want to stick with it longer than they would usually do :). Personally I was always the kind of Do-It-Myself guy but hiring a trainer is probably the safest and most effective way, this will cut through the learning curve and give you the best possible results in the given time period.
Good luck with your fitness goals and be sure to check out many more articles about weight loss on my site. I’m sure you’ll find some interesting and helpful stuff. :)
